Can we change the way it works?

Never before in human history has there been the potential to create so much wealth, so fast and starting with so little… this is thanks to viral expansion…

What is viral expansion?

Viral expansion is the most advanced direct-marketing strategy and the most significant business accelerant ever. It occurs when a user tells a friend about a website… one user becomes 2 users and then 4 and then 8 and eventually 1 million…

Viral expansion works because 78% of users trust peer recommendations and because in Internet, eventually, your website is just one click away…

-       It took Mercedes more than 100 years to reach $70 billion valuation. It took Facebook 7.

-       It took General Electric more than 100 years to reach $200 billion valuation. It took Google 10.

And this is just the beginning…

Who benefits from viral expansion?

When a company goes viral, its founders make billions, its investors make hundreds of millions, its early employees tens of millions…

But what about the users?

By spreading the word, with their clicks, users created billions of dollars of wealth and valuation.

At Twangoo, we think it’s time for the users to participate – what do you think?

JetYou’d think traveling on a jet is the best way to get wherever you want whenever you want, well not always.

Our stewardess, a red hair wild child, turned up just in time for the plane departure, and had no time to pick up dinner for the flight. She was supposed to take care of it during the Sao Paulo stop when we were clearing customs. Unfortunately Sao Paulo catering was not ready on time so we waited for an hour on the plane for her return.

We tried reaching her, her mobile was off.

From Punta to Fernando de Noronha… The attack of the tree!

March 24th, 2011

We finished the Punta trip on the same note that it had started, more beach time, more parties, more dancing, more fun…

Crazy PartyJ. had organized a second house party on January 2nd which turned out to be almost as mad as the New Year’s Eve one… That was the night I realized the danger of tequila shots… Damn, I am surprised this thing is legal… They should have a warning on every bottle: “Beware you may do crazy things after ingestion and not remember it the next day.” It started beautifully, bonfire at the beach house, perfect crowd, everybody was in a great mood. Dancing on the tables, meeting a very sexy Argentinian film student… Funny story. He was on clutches, after a soccer accident. That was not going to stop me. I saw him and had an absolute crush on him.

From Punta with love…

I woke up on the other side of the world, literally, and went to the beach at dawn, so excited to finally be in South America, a place I’ve been dreaming to see for a very long time.

The landscape was so unfamiliar, so different from every other places I’ve been. The colors, the infinite expanses, cactus in the background, the sands dune covered with reeds. The beach over there extends as far as the eyes can see, it was beautiful.

First lunch all together, I got to meet the other part of the group, which was coming from Sao Paulo. Great. If “Blondes have more fun” is definitely a sentence I don’t agree with (Yes, you guessed right, I am a brunette) Read the rest of this entry »

Pashminas are women’s best friends…

January 18th, 2011

The day had started beautifully,

my best friend from South of France had arrived in town and I had concocted her the perfect program to mix and match H.K. assets. Traditional Dragon-i parties, relaxed evening in Shek O and tonight the bal of the yacht club for its 70th anniversary. The perfect occasion to finally wear the favorite piece of my entire wardrobe, a red satin extremely fitted dress from the last collection designed by the regretted Alexander Mc Queen.

It is one of those dresses. I saw her, we recognized each other, flirted for a month or so – I was going to visit her regularly in Joyce – before I finally surrendered and gave my card away…
